Default 1888

Has there been a reprint or copy of the 1888 catalog? Thanks Dave

That would be a great one to see redone - 1888 was the year the hammerless Parker was announced.

I wondered if it was first in the 1888 or 1889 catalog

i haven't seen one - hopefully some one can name a source

I'm not sure there was an 1888 catalog. Many catalog pages were reproduced in The Parker Story. All known catalogs were described.

David, I know that The Double Gun Journal is reproducing the 1882 catalog and has them for sale. I have a copy of the 1899 catalog. I checked Cornell Publications and they do not show anything between those years. I will do further checking when I get home.

On page 747 of TPS there is a listing for a 1888 catalog. The authors describe it as a brown cover with the same top lever gun shown as the 1887 catalog. The catalog is 5 7/8" by 8 7/8" and is 24 pages. I have never seen one but they must be out there.
