J. R. Hull, traveling representative for Parker Bros., Meriden Conn., was in the city last week. He attended the shoot of the Highland Gun Club on Saturday and was pleased when the Frankford Gun Club won the gold medal for the best six men team. All of the team used Parker guns.

J. R. Hull of Parker Bros. is moving quite lively these days. He shot in the Harrisburg live-bird handicap on February 22 and on the following day completed in the 100 target handicap of the Altoona Gun Club. At the latter place he was high gun at scratch, but the handicap given to the others beat him out.

I notice, in the third link, that Fred Miller went home to warm his "cold feet" rather than attend a match. The writers didn't pull any punches in the old days.
