Default 12s are back from Brad's

Last august I purchased a lovely DH from a member on here that came with two barrels, a set of 32" 10s and a set of 30" 12s. The 10s are in good shape pattern wise, but the 12s were not so much, plus there was some color issue on the 12s. They were a great set and I was happy with the gun, but come Christmas time I had a little extra change in my pocket so I sent Brad a message asking his opinion and estimate on what the barrels needed. He told me and I sent him the 12s to have the rebrowned.

I have never been the biggest fan about sending off a gun to be worked on, but there aren't any shops I am aware of that do Damascus browning in the North Texas area so there we have it off they went.

They originally had were to take 6-8 weeks to rebrown, but after they came out they didn't meet Brad's specifications and than they had to wait in line to get dipped again. It was a wait, but I wasn't needing the barrels for anything in particular so I waited.

Got them back today and let me tell you my pics won't do them justice. I have had several damascus guns in my short time collecting, 2 currently, this 2 barrel set and a 28" light 12 that has been rebrowned at some point. My other 2 guns I have acquired and traded off had nice to good browning still on them. These barrels look amazing. Thanks Brad and your team for the amazing work, now hopefully my photo skills do their job.
