A wonderful old live bird gun.
Looks like the forend wood has been replaced at some point.
Is the frame blued or is it my eyes?

Please send for a PGCA Research Letter, we would like to learn more about its provenance.
Thanks, Dean

I can't remember if there is another fore end kicking around somewhere or not. Like I said before there's a box of medals and trophies that were won with the gun kicking around but couldn't be found at the time of purchase. Also I don't know if frame is blued or if its just the camera light, its pretty dark, but everything is all the same colour so I'm thinking that its all original. The gentleman that originally owned the gun went on to become a Cournel and this was his gun when he was still a Major.

Edward,
Can you please post the following information about your fathers gun

1. Serial number.
2. Year your Father purchased the gun.
3. Where your father purchased the gun.

Your Fathers gun is something very special. Finding out more about Major/Colonel Singer is a "must do" in my opinion.

Thank you
Patrick

Well from what I remember, the gun was bought a few years ago from another fellow in town here. I believe that the gun was given to his mother or something along those lines as a gift from Mr.Singer. The gentleman had it sitting in his case collecting dust and brought it to our house and my dad bought it. As far as the serial number, I'd rather not post it, because the gun is in Canada and being registered giving out the serial number is just too much information.
