Default Looking for suggestions...

I've been too busy with work to plan an October trek to the UP for Grouse, or ND for Huns. Heck, I've even been too busy to visit the board much. November looks like it will free up some time for me. Where should I consider at that time of year? I've got a small little brittany and live down South in Atlanta. I'd say my primary concern is running in to a bunch of snow.

Am I too late to hunt North Dakota or the UP the first two weeks of November? What about up the east coast in to Maine?

We have lots of Ruffed Grouse in NE Minnesota, but it gets a wee bit chilly in November. It is not uncommon to have no snow in November, but I wouldn't bet on it!

I have made several outings for Grouse in the U.P. and there are a good number of birds. Depending on where you hunt November should be fine. Remember firearms deer season starts 11/15 and all other hunting closes. If you want to look for a place to stay send me a pm.

How about quail hunting in South Georgia? I recommend Morrison Pines in Moultrie, GA. No relation, by the way.
