Default Lefever Restoration

Bought a used but not abused H Grade Lefever last year for a usual project gun (12 gauge laminated steel barrels). Dear friend's son is left hand loved the looks of side X side and wanted to bird hunt in Montana with us double gun guys. The gun will be presented to the son at his dad's 70 plus birthday party in Montana in a couple of weeks. Hoping to get photos of dad and son hunting with their side x sides.
Case colors were good and wood just needed refreshing, barrels went off to Bachelder (are now stunning), local gunsmith converted triggers mechanism so front trigger shoots left barrel, final step bending the stock. The big rough step; wood allowed us to get the cast we needed but drop was another issue. Developed a crack in the wrist now he's going to need to shoot it with the wrong drop and a repaired wrist. When small crack wrist is repaired it'll be hard to locate and with RST shells I'm hoping he'll have many years of joy out of a beautiful Lefever.
