Default Replacement mid-bead?

My 20/32 VHE has a mid-bead but it has been broken off. From the small amount of the bead that remains it appears that it was ivory. Three questions: even though the front bead is brass would a mid-bead be ivory? How/where can I get a replacement? How difficult is it to remove what remains of the original and replace it with a new one?

Thanks,

JDG

Could not find them on the Galazan site. They do have several single beads. Can someone tell me what size the bead should be?

Some smiths will make a set for you and install them. I had Abe Chaber do that on the Adm. Perry's gun. He makes them from Mastadon ivory so they are legal under the new ivory law.

I quoted you out of an older Galazan catalog. I checked my newest one, less than a year old, and they show them, P/N PH100. I also noticed the price went from $30 to $70 between catalogs.
