this was the first shotgun i ever shot it belonged to mu uncle his was a stevens with the plastic stock...i have wanted one of these guns since then and last year traded for a real nice one it has the plastic stock and hammer selector on the side..this is probably best squirl gun ever made....thanks for bringing this little fellow to the lite....charlie

The plastic stocked ones were issued to some post WWII test pilots here in Alaska. I knew one of them that had two and who said he always had one wrapped in an arctic sleeping bag when doing cold weather testing of P-38's and P-51's on skis.

I passed on a "camper" take down model with original case in great condition a few years back and have kicked myself ever since .

My 1st gun! I received one for Xmas in 1954. I still have the gun in my gun case. It was a great squirrel gun or for just going hunting.

My brother and I started using one as soon as our Dad would let us shoot. That was 60+ years ago. It's a wonder we didn't wear it out. I don't think it can be done. My brother owns it now and his boys are giving it a workout. I bought my own years ago and use it for squirrels. Best squirrel gun made.
