That looks like a G-grade, and I think it's very nice. The engraving is still quite crisp for a gun of that age. It does not have the coverage of the higher grades, but then it was not supposed to being a less expensive item. What don't you like about it?

Cross hatching for feathers not much detail, I like the gun, it shoots great.
(I think all grades should be shown not just the higher grades.)
If not done , I think it would make a good Parker book subject, all engraving that is.

Dean, do the serial numbers on this GH frame and barrel lug match?
I ask because I have not seen such engraving on the barrel breeches of a GH before - very elaborate and nicely executed for such a low grade Parker. What is the serial number or year of manufacture?

Possibly it was originally a Damascus gun and went back later for Parker Special Steel barrels . . . ?

It was rebarrel from Damascus, 1891 is the year, dang this runs about 8lbs, frame and barrels have Belgian (spell check) proof marks.
