Default Chantilly gun show

Anyone going to the Chantilly show, July the 29th Friday, through Sunday the 31st, starts at 9a. both Saturday and Sunday? I will be 5 1/2 hours north of Chantilly and thinking of sharing a ride down there for the day preferably Saturday leaving in time to get there before the doors open. I heard from some reliable sources it's a pretty good show and about 1000 tables. Tom.

I would not drive 5 1/2 hours to go to the Chantilly Show. I go because I am 50 minutes away and I have prepaid tables there.

Tom if you are willing to go 5 1/2 hours go to the Louisville show next Sept. the Parker annual meeting will be there and a bunch of Parker displays. I think that you would have more fun.

I've been there twice. Not enough SXS's, and way too many black guns and camo for my tastes. Best part of the trip was a visit to the NRA museum to see the Invincibles. If you're going to drive that far be sure to allow time to see them, along with all the other cool guns at the museum.

Well since I rather own a SxS, a Parker none the less, consensus on this board plainly suggests there are shows of better interest. Appreciate the opinions here, guess I will try and uncover some other route between now and Louisville. T.
