Default Lapeer Shoot Thank You

I'd like to thank everyone who attended [ and those who worked it ] , because without you guys there would be no shoot. The outlook was RAIN for the day but we didn't get it. We even had some sunshine for a bit. For that reason the numbers were down a bit - from 82 shooters to 52. Everything went fine and the Pigeon Ring was a big sucess. I'll have Mark post some pictures [ I don't know how ] . There were 10 shooting Parkers - Dave Dellinger won high in black powder and my wife, Marie, won the ladies class, both shooting Parkers. Thanks again and hope to see everyone on July 20th for our summer fun shoot. Paul

Destry prepares for an incomer with Brad and Lori Bachelder, Ken H., and me in waiting. That's my hat peaking out from behind Ken!

Our Crusty old B.... (COB) shoots as Opening Day, Terry, Joe, Dollar Grade, and others watch.

There are several PGCA members in this group but I can't remember there names! The younger guy to the left is a member to-be proudly shooting a nice 20 gauge Trojan.

Meanwhile back in the clubhouse I could not break away from the PGCA table!

Along with the questions of the qualities of classic American doubles there was a demand for checking barrel wall thickness from some well know members!

These Parker B Grade barrels still have much life in them.

Hey,

Great photos Paul!

Despite the rain it was again a wonderful shoot. What's best about a SxS shoot is the knowledge passed on from on shooter to another!

Thanks Paul, The weather held off just enough to get in two circuits of the SC course. Almost missed the steak dinner as C.O.B. was eyeing mine as I slipped in the door after the last round. Good show and worth the 9 hours driving ( at near $4/gal., damn!)
