Check out this grouse ruff

[Cold Spring]

I have a hanging grouse mount in the game room; the bird has a roufous ruff and is only the second like it I remember taking here in PA. Wednesday was a pretty nice day hereabouts and we were having morning coffee watching the TV news. I noticed the grouse had spread of color, took this cell pic and wanted to share it.

We have two stained glass windows that came from an old church in the room and at first I thought the colors were from sunlight shining thru one of them, but thinking about it, they look like a prism effect from a thick glass trophy that's sitting on a window sill below the mount. Kind of cool how the colors played out on the ruff area. Anyway, here's the moment.
