I went out on this cold winter day and put my new paper shells to good use.

When I bought them, I was thinking that they would be perfect for an early A5 of mine made in 1904. The shells and gun worked perfectly today and I shot 4 boxes. Cycled the gun fine and while I don't shoot this gun often, I should...

Oh and these shells do have a great smell when fired!!!

I just ordered two more cases of these. I know they're pricey, but I just couldn't help myself...I had too much fun shooting on Friday.

I'll shoot a few through a Parker soon too...

Great stuff !!!

I have 2 early 12ga A5s a 1902 and 1903 . I just purchase 10 boxes to used in these 2 guns.

I would bet these Peter's papers were made by Federal now that they have the same corporate identity. Kinda neat if true.

Even more so when they were loaded with certain powders. IMR 7625 comes quickly to mind.
