Thanks to Mike for negotiating and to David for posting. The details and prices shown for the event are still a bit confusing. Just so that gents know what they're going to be charged at Drakes .....

Scenario 1 - two shooters share the same cart and each gent shoots 2 rounds of 100 birds, they also have lunch at Drakes between round 1 and round 2. What is the total cost per shooter to include applicable NC state/county/local taxes?

Scenario 2 - The same two shooters do the same thing on the next day. What is the total cost per shooter for day 2?

Thanks in advance for working up these figures.

If memory serves there isn't any tax added to the cost. The cart fee is for the entire day NOT per round. If two people shot 100 targets and lunch it would be $70 rounded off then they shot another 100 targets it just be the cost of targets there wouldn't be an additional charge for the cart.

I'm going to shoot there Wed-Sat and won't let the cost deter me from pulling the trigger. It's less than the $1/target at Deep River and there better targets. I'm on vacation damn the cost.....PULL!!!

I just called Ed at Deep River Sporting Clays and was told that the price on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the Southern Side by Side Championship is $48 for 100 targets. Our local price here in fly over country is $36/100.

I intend to support the PGCA at Deep River and attend the Parker Foundation dinner. I will shoot some at Deep River on Friday and Saturday in support of our competition against the L C Smith collectors and to support Bill K who gives us free tent and table space and makes our PGCA spring event possible.

Bruce what's your point? Your not in fly over country any more. My home course is $24/100 so what. You just go and shoot the crummy targets that haven't changed in 15 years and we will go have a great time. Friday-Sun Bill will be charging $1/target just like always.

Frank I looked at the web site for Drakes and for non members it goes like this. 100 targets $50, cart per person per day $8, lunch $20 second 100 target $50 total is $128 for two hundred targets, cart and lunch. Personally I can fill a cooler with some sandwich material and cold drinks and I'm good to go.
