Default New member from Ga looking for barrels

Hello all, I am a new member and a new Parker owner.
Someone cut the barrels to 18” for some unknown reason ? Pls excuse my
lack of knowledge if I state something that is incorrect. I would like to find another set of barrels of any length . If anyone could help me in my efforts it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Good morning Nate,
Presuming they are 12gauge,the important factor is it is a 1 1/2 frame size. Indicated by the number stamped on the lug. Parker made many frame sizes and in order to have the barrels match that is important. If you join the PGCA, you will have access to members only forum where items such as barrels are listed for sale.
Also, the barrels will likely require fitting to the action in order to work, although sometimes they will drop right on.

Sometimes Cowboy Action Shooters cut barrels to that length. It's a shame they might have done that to a Parker.

1 1/2 frame 12 gauge barrels should be easy to find. Finding some that fit your action well may be more of a challenge. Several folks on the board can help, if you post in the members only want to buy section.

Good luck in your search. Don't pay too much. After the fitting and cost of gun and barrels, you will have a non matching VH, which is not worth a lot.
