Default Anticipation! and Kudo's to Chuck

WOW! I bought this gun on GB last Tuesday and ordered my letter from Chuck the next day on the 16th. Got my letter from Chuck this morning! The letter beat the gun to my hands.

Really excited to see it, the seller could never really figure out how to measure the stock dimensions, so it was a little gamble on that end. The little 0 frame 20 at 6 lbs and perfect chokes for Bobwhites, and straight grip to boot!

The photos show a well used but well cared for gun...will send pics when it gets here!!

Mark my CHE 20 has the same choke configuration, and yes it was made for bobwhite quail! Great buy! Everytime I think I have enough 20 gauge Parkers I buy another one. Which I may or may not have done this week.

I am growing to love the Parker 20's.

My Damascus GH that I brought for the display at the Southern got the duty call this past Sunday morning in the Dove field. I went 15 for 23 with it! It is 28" close to 7lbs, although an 0 frame, and choked IC/Full....the perfect Dove gun!

I only have one Parker 20 gauge ! And the one I have I’ve wanted for fifty years , first remmember seeing it when I was 7 or 8 . It belonged to a family friend that owned the local Gunshop and he kept it on the wall in his shop but not for sale . His father gave it to him when he was in Hamden Sydney in the late 50’s and his father had bought it from the original owner . I bet I asked two hundred times if he was ready to sell it and my father asked quite a few times as well . And when he brought it in to my buddies shop to sell it he told him to give me the first crack at it . This gun is probably the best condition Parker I own even if it’s only a VHE . The pics are of a dove shoot with the little 20 about four or five years ago and a Pheasent preserve hunt two years ago . Down the road I’d like to add a couple more 20’s a VH/VHE 26” , a GH/GHE and perhaps a DH/DHE . But like many things time will tell .

Mark, I couldn't agree more ...

Took a limit of dove last weekend shooting the gun I got for my oldest grandson. It's a round knob VH 20 with 28" barrels and factory Cyl & Mod chokes. The best upland gun that I have ever owned... Thank you Jeff ! !

No doubt there is just something special about 20ga Parkers, without planning it I find myself with 5 , a Trojan ,2 VH ,a VHE and a DH. My hunting partner just got his first Parker a 20ga VH that he just loves.

Bill,

It is a Galco with the velcro flap stamped x-small on the bottom.
