Default #70600

Just unearthed a beauty from storage, Parker Dbl barrel #70600. A local rancher gave it to my father, the local deputy about 50 years ago, the rancher was in his 80's. Other than a use worn stock and some tarnishing on the metal, it is beautiful, all mechanisms work like they came of the original assembly floor. I want to correctly clean up this gun. I will prepare and post pictures shortly.

Good family story, along with what sounds like a great gun. We will look forward to seeing it. Take your time and do the "clean up" correctly.

Tom,70600 is in the "Serialization Book" as a damascus G Grade 16 ga. with 28 inch barrels and a capped pistol grip stock. Congratulations

Is it a hammer gun or hammerless? 0-frame or 1-frame?

Thanks, I will spend some time and care preparing this gun. Better to do too little than too much
