Default how do I know for sure

How can one be certain if he has a very beautiful original Parker or a gun that was refurbished, maybe even by one of the masters. do they mark their work in any way??

If you have such a gun you should show pictures of it to get the opinions of some qualified collectors here.

"I'm a Setter man.
Not because I think they're better than the other breeds,
but because I'm a romantic - stuck on tradition - and to me,
a Setter just "belongs" in the grouse picture."

George King, "That's Ruff", 2010 - a timeless classic.
