Default New member with new (old) Parker

Hello, I am a new PGCA member live in Michigan and new to the website as well. I own a new (old) Parker. I have interest in these fine guns and want to learn more. The serial number is 73536 on my Parker DH with a number 2 frame. I believe to be original. Maybe someone could assist in verifying this information. I believe it to be built in 1892 based on the information I could find here.

Thank you.

I'm in Troy. Perhaps we can get together at Bald Mountain for a round of Clays with the Parkers. I've got a 2 frame DHE. The old girls need to get reacquainted.

The new purchase is a 12 gauge DH with 30” barrels. I’m in the process to determine it is good to shoot. I grew up in Troy near Livernois and Square Lake Road (19 Mile Road)

I used to train my dogs on wild phez and an occasional quail about 2 miles west of Rodney's place. Now it's been turned into about 6-8 soccer fields

I grew up there in the 50’s and woke up to pheasants cackling and had quai all along our street.

There are surviving records for this serial number, so you should order a research letter. You'd be amazed the info occasionally turned up in the records
