Mike, were you able to get a non-smoking or a smoking room?

I had a significant amount of trouble getting a non-smoking room just a few days ago.

Hey Dean,

I called and talked to "Benny" tonight, and she was very helpful. Called the main number as others suggested in this post. She looked up the PGCA room block and confirmed that she still had rooms available at the $62 rate. She asked me for smoking or non, and I chose non-smoking. There didn't seem to be any issues. It's a single room with two double beds. One for me, and one for my DHE.

Well, I will not be taking the 747 down all my boys backed out and it is foolish to drive the bus down with just me in it. So, I booked a room, courtesy of Tom Carter, at the Quality Tuesday all they had left were smoking rooms, so they are fast running out of rooms! By the way I asked if the room reeked of cigarette smoke, the lady said she did not think so, the gentleman that had the room prior to me was named Bill something and he had a box of cigars and two women with him, go figure! Sorry I am going to miss the fun, but to choose between being in the woods shooting real birds (if I ever see one) to shooting clays, well I guess you know what I will decide... You guys have fun

Eric, I'll be taking a short bank of manual pigeon traps and a cage of birds from our October shoot. Come on down.

No, They are bidding on some jobs and in todays economy, this take precedent. Megan, would like to go but we can not leave our 14year old lab, as she is quickly approaching the rainbow bridge, and can not travel! So she will stay in V.A. till the time comes! Gary

I got rained out this weekend but did accomplish a nice piece of business in Negaunee on the way.

I'll be in north central Michigan next weekend and then back to the U.P. the following weekend.
