Yes, the same, although the movie website is a bit inaccurate.
Only the Parker Gun Works was bought by Remington. The Charles Parker Company manufactured a LOT more than just shotguns. .

I'm on my phone right now, and don't know how to post a link, but the movie was "Skyfall" a James Bond movie. The gun was a double 12 ga. used by a Scotish gamekeeper. I was sort surprised it was identified as an American gun.
