Frank;
The "Hell Hole" did'nt bother me as much as the last station did with those lazy in-your-face targets. You shot lights out throughout the course and the "Hole" was your only bad station. Not bad my friend.

Back in June I broke either 5 for 6 or 6 for 6 at the "Hell Hole". Mike may remember... he shot with me.

(this time I missed them all )

Okay guy's....so I'm a little slow on the uptake. What station are we calling the "hell hole"?

It's the station after you leave the high incomers and enter the woods to shoot the same targets through an opening, hence the term "Hell Hole". My term, not Mikes.

Okay got it. We shot that when we were there in June. I love that station!

Reminds me of when I shot the NSCA PA State Championship at Rock Mtn a few years ago and was in a three way tie for first place in the SxS event. So the good Doctor (who wasn't into classic doubles then) decided to have a shoot out on the Make a Break field but without using the #1 birds and with simos on the others. And I'm shooting a double trigger Fox and the two other gents had modern single trigger/high rib competition doubles. Yeah Mike, I'm not gonna forget that one either.

Hey, I was merely allowing your full/full choked Fox reach out and touch them. Besides, a double trigger is every bit as fast as a single flinch-o-matic trigger!!

Yeah, I really like that station too Dave. Mike, you are the master target setter.

Hey '"Smitty," I'm no shooting coach but you sure look like you're "peeking' to me. What was your focus point? The barbecue concession by any chance??? rotf:

And as for you Charlie Purple, that must mean six years in the big house for that "X-dresser" remark. You really don't want to poke Roll's bee-hive this early in the game, do yuh????

This sure sounds like a shooters paradise !

I am playing with the idea of a group of us "southern boys" chartering a small bus and run it up from SC, through NC, Va to the shoot. That would make a 10 hour run enjoyable and arrive rested and ready to shoot. Anyone interested?
