Thanks all again. In the next week or two I'll be heading up to Kittery to look at their inventory of Guerinis and maybe try a trade for one with one of my (nay I say it!) Parkers! Maybe trade the Parker GH two barrel set I have, we'll see. John Morin, a good friend of mine, absolutely swears by his Guerini Magnus 12 and John is a British sxs gun nut but just likes his Guerini too. Brad, thanks for your comments from the gunsmith side of the biz. That helps seal the deal in my mind. Again, thanks all for your comments.

I have owned two CG's. They were nice enough guns, but beware of the resale value of them. For some reason they do not have very good resale value as used guns. If that is not of concern to you then this is not an issue. In that vein you might look for a lightly used gun. I think there are some good buys on them if you look a bit.
