I am brand new to this but have inherited a Parker Brothers gun and need some help figuring out the value so I can properly insure it. It is a 16 gauge double barrel, frame size s1, barrel weight 3 12 (the 12 is in smaller font), grade V, made of Vulcan steel. The serial number is 142625 and the date inscribed is May 7, 1901. Many thanks for any guidance offered.

your gun is a VHE model and should have 28" barrels and a capped pistol grip stock

it should have been made in 1907

as for value- that is best done with the gun in hand - but certainly clear pictures are a minimun.
