Default Parker info and current market prices.

I have a few Parkers that were my father's but he didn't want them anymore. I'd like to see what some of them are worth so I can maybe get him some money for them due to I have no need for all of them. There is a select few I wish to keep as heirlooms.

You will most likely need very good pictures to estimate worth. It is really hard to determine value without looking at them in person.

Thanks Eldon
I live in New Jersey do you happen to know anywhere that specializes in Parker shotguns in or near nj? From what I learned from my father a couple maybe rare/valuable. I feel someone who collects would appreciate them a little more then I would be able to. Keeping all them cleaned and we'll oiled constantly is a task. If I had 3 or 4 it wouldn't be back cause I would just do them when I do the rest of my firearms.

You will probably get flooded with request now.I would be interested in any 20 or 28ga. guns you might have. You have a good forum here to find out what your looking for but I'm not sure if you can sell them here without a full membership.
I have a couple friends in NJ that can help you.Contact me directly if you like and get you in touch with them.

Ok thank you. I wasn't necessary trying to sell them on here just trying to figure out their worth so i know what to price them at in the future. I will be in touch.

Matthew,

Dollar is correct in that one must be a PGCA member to sell via this forum. A Forum Associate such as yourself may do as you and ask for help from members.

If you have an interest in Parkers or just vintage doubles in general you might consider joining the PGCA. The $40 annual membership fee will be repaid many times over when you buy and sell Parkers with the knowledge which members will share with you.

Best of luck!
Mark

Haha Its not that he doesn't want them I worded that wrong. He didn't want to up keep them all and gave them to me cause I own my fair share of firearms and always showed interest in a few of his Parkers. He knows I'm not getting rid of all of them so he is happy that I will most likely never sell a couple of them.

The fairest estimate of rarity and value is right here on this forum. Post good pictures and markings from the guns and you will get honest information.
