Galazan will have a display at the Vintagers. I believe they will have the tent that Dewing's use to have. As to having Parker barrels on display I don't know but doubt if you will see barrels there!

Barrels were supposed to start shipping in September. Has anyone received a set yet?

I just ordered a set of 30" 20g "originals" for my 1912 0 frame DHE 16g a few minutes ago from Galazans. No deliveries to date but and I quote, "I know they are now in production"...

Default Update!

I spoke with Mike Burnett at CSMC today about the bbls. Jim, you were correct on 2 issues: the 28 ga bbls that are planned now are for the 20 ga 0 framed Reproductions. They do plan to make 00 frame 28 ga bbls "later on." The other thing you said was that you thought that the Remington bbls were made on the same machines. I was told they are, however, they will not sell them in the white, and it would be necessary to order them through Remington (!). He wouldn't guess on the price. If anyone hears anything about the .410 bbls becoming available, please post it here.

Thanks, Don. In production is good. I'm not in any big hurry.

Yes. I know for a fact they will be, as I just called them for another reason altogether and we chatted about their attendance this year.

Best to you,

I,m confused. Is Galazan going to be selling .410 barrels for the 00 Frame 28 gauge Repro's?

Thanks for that, Joe. You beat me to it. I'll probably call later anyway so they know of the demand for that product. Sometimes you wish you weren't right - like when you think your team is going to lose the big game and they do. To be clear, the 00 frame 28 barrels they plan on making later on are for Repros, not Originals? Does anyone know of prior success fitting Repro barrels to originals? At least there is a glimmer of hope in the future.

Corporate business models are so screwy sometimes: "Yes, we are in business to make and sell products. Yes, we make exactly what you need to solve your problem. Uh...no you can't buy them." But I realize there are factors we aren't privy to. Fortunately, there's no hurry in this case, so if the solution is on the horizon that's still good.

No need for confusion Dave, they're listed as being for sale on CSMC website. What seems to be of some question is how well your existing forend will fit and how much additional weight the .410 bbls. will add to the gun.

Here again is the link to these barrels, click on it then scroll to the bottom of the page.
