I am a new PGCA member and live in eastern North Carolina. I just got into Parkers, and was thinking of going to the Southern SxS for one of the days. Its a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. I would like to check out the events as well as the vendors.

I have never shot at any Vintager events. Although I haven't done it recently, I did shoot CAS for awhile a few years ago. Is it a matter of getting the proper clothes along with following the other requirements on the Vintager website? I always hate being the "newbie" at such things, but if nothing else I would at least like to spend the day learning for next time.

Thanks,

Jay

Jay,
There are no requirements for dressing in Vintage attire. In fact very few do. Just dress appropriately for the weather and come and have a good time.

Jay, you've absolutely GOT to go to the Southern. It is truly SXS "overload" in every respect, even for those of us who go every year. Don't miss it!!

Jay welcome to the PGCA. Just come as you are and have fun. The PGCA will have a tent down by the 5 stand course, we share it with the LC Smith group so there will be lots of people to talk to and learn about two great guns.

Also Jay we will be shooting Thurs, Friday, and Saturday morning at Drakes Landing. A bunch of fun no score cards one of the nicest Clays courses that I have shot, so join us there for a morning or afternoon shoot and go the Deep River and enjoy all the vendors and the Parker/LC Smith shoot. It's a great time....

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I haven't shot at either of those courses. Around here I have shot clays at Rose Hill and Hunter's Point in Washington, NC(which is just 30 minutes from me).

I am looking forward to driving a little west in April.

Thanks,

Jay

Jay please join us for a round or two at Drakes Landing. Send me a PM and I'll provide you with the details. You will love the course.
