Yes. Typically when guns were ordered with no safety, they will not be inletted for the safety jacket.

I am always amazed in what a lot of you guys in the Collectors Fraternity remember regarding all the nuances of these guns! Doesn’t matter what make gun it is, some of you are like walking encyclopedias. I’m lucky I can remember that I have 11 fingers. Wait, 10. Yeah, that’s right, 10. But I digress. Engraving, checkering, stock configurations? One needs a scorecard!!

I am too Mike. I just wish I could answer some of these questions but the records we have aren't sortable for things such as how many were made without safetys, frame sizes, recoil pads, monte carlo combs, etc.

Anybody want to spend years reviewing the books and develope a sortable database?
