Sandhills Sharptail Shootout 2020

The Sandhills Sharptail Shootout is September 16-18 in Mullen Nebraska. We have a Parker team going as we have for several years. It’s a Community Foundation fundraiser , we hunt ranches for the first time in the season.

These are wild birds, not preserve hunting. It’s not for everyone because it is not easy hunting , expect to walk 6 to 10 miles, you need bird dogs that are capable and in shape, and you need to be able to hit up to 40 to 50 yard birds. Some dogs are bothered by sand burrs and ground cactus, mine are not, but they run hard all year.

So we have a team already put together, we did well last year and had a great time. We welcome being joined by another Parker shooter team if you are interested.
