I'm not much for salt water fishing, it just never appealed to me. The mountain lion sounds fun but I'm guessing the season isn't open anywhere in June.

You can combine wingshooting and fishing in Argentina. I'm going on memory now, but I seem to recall them offering fishing for trout and Golden Dorado.

How 'bout a walking tour of Scotland with stops at notable landmarks and the Gordon Castle. You can stop in at Dicksons and order their new 28 gauge side lever...and have a dram or two along the way. We may see you there if you go.

You can't go wrong with an Argentine adventure.
June is a great month to go there ducks, doves, pigeons, perdiz, fishing etc. What's not to like? If I had the funds I would make an Argentina trip every year. |

I was heading back to Scotland last September for a big go round with the wood pigeons. But then unexpectedly had to move house and that depleted available funds. Sadly they dont get good till the oilseed rape starts to come off in late August.

For anyone new to the Forum, it's been awhile since we've heard from Destry. He has hunted everywhere, literally. I met Destry about 20 years ago at my first PGCA Annual Meeting in Ohio. We had been communicating through the Parker web-site but came face to face at the hotel bar the first night of the gun show. Wound up sharing a room. He never has paid me for his half. We've had many great adventures since then. The Kimble vs. Bogardus matches at the Southern, goose hunting on the eastern shore and live pigeon shooting at the Philadelphia Gun Club courtesy of Don Kaas. I've bought some great stuff from him and he's given me some great stuff. Wonderful guy. Normally I would say gentleman but .............
