Gerald,The picture you posted of the gentlemen reminded me of a picture of an English engraver on my engravers forum sitting in a suit,tie and a white apron while engraving,I made a comment about it and two gents from across the pond came back and said that the way all tradesmen dress in the UK.Maybe these gentlemen were from the UK or Europe. My Dad shot pheasants in a white Arrow shirt buttoned to the neck and a necktie. In advanced age, he softened up a bit and wore colored shirts when hunting.

This is my grandfather probably in the 1920s. Dressed for the field but ya gotta love the tie.
