Default I've seen it all

At the OGCA show , a man had a very clean DHE reproduction two-barrel set. 28 and .410. DT, SG, BTFE. He only wanted $17,000 for it. I'm guessing he is going to take that gun home with him.

But it's such a desirable configuration...

No decent guns spotted. A friend of mine, who, in his day, was the finest springer field trial gun I ever shot with, is a backyard gunsmith who had several "restored" Parkers that might have caused apoplexy among the brethren. (Gloss blued Trojan and a VH which he stocked with a piece of AA American Walnut) among others. Both guns were sold by Sunday noon. He had several other guns which were case colored by "a man in Connecticut". I certainly am an amateur with Parker coloring, and these weren't Bachelder level, but weren't too bad. Any idea who that might be? BTW, the repro mentioned above was was still there as we left at noon Sunday
