Did the buck's Rolex come off while he was scrapin' that tree? Looks like a great stand you've got there... and a nice Leopold to boot. Ain't fall the greatest! I really enjoy seeing pictures from where other guys hunt and their dogs, guns, etc... Thanks Kent, hope you get your buck.

PS - perhaps the dogs have been watching too much NASCAR while you're deer hunting.

It's a 270....made the year I was born....1946. She's in better shape than I am and a lot more accurate.

Default Pre-1964 Model 70's

Yesire- I agree. I have my Dad's older M70 SuperGrade in .270Win he bought new in 1940- I changed with older bolt safety position via Buehler into the next series, and replace the older Stith with a Leupold Vari-X 111 in Buehler one piece bridge mount and it is a "dinger"> I also have a 1948 std. grade M70 in 30-06, also with a Leupold scope and Buehler one pc. mounts- and it will outshoot my NM 1903 Springfield sniper rifle with 10X Redfield scope--with White Box Lake City MT ammo-- I will post this on the For sale section- but I have two Mint copies of the Roger Rule boox on the M70=-
