Default PHE

Click!!

The PHE is not my gun. Not interested to buy. Came in on Google Alert today and I'm just interested in any opinions or observations folks have from the pictures and write-up. Just part of continuing education. Would this be considered a "good" buy if all checks out?

I did sell a rifle the other day. First firearm I have sold in over 40 years but I have convinced myself the rifles are leaving the stable and maybe some of the earlier Parker purchases.
There will then be a bit of room in the steel tombs and we know nature abhors a vacuum, so..........

Here's the little devil that went. After seventh grade wood shop, I "re-finished" the wood with red solid stain. When I decided the rifles are on their way, I couldn't let it go to the prom in an ugly dress, so did the right thing with the wood. Turned out okay. It did go to a good home and hopefully one day introduces another generation to the shooting sports. If the pearly gates are guarded by gophers, this little .22 ensured I won't be admitted.

Cheers,
Jack

Definately restocked but a nice PHE. It would make a good Pheasant gun and it's priced right. I saw a PH 12 at Hausmanns no ejectors, SST or steel bbls asking price was $3500 i believe.

Not my cup of tea as I'm paring down the 12's and adding 20's.

The little .22 was made by a small Canadian company that built millions of rifles and shotguns. It no longer exists. Name is Cooey. Here's a LINK for further info.

I have added plenty already. I will be leaving the check book at home when I go to the U.P. shoot on Thursday.

I have gotten two of my "Life's Dream Guns" this month already. I'll have to come up with another one for next time
