Keep in mind that you can compromise a decent set of barrels by using the wrong blueing process. The upper and lower ribs are soldered to the barrels and "hot blueing" can deteriorate the solder.

Thanks, I was not aware of that. He had some cold blueing in with his reloading equipment that I was planning on using anyways.
