Wanted to share these for the guys here who have a love for the short 10 ga.
The grey barreled one was a CG Bonehill , a very stout gun over 10lbs the barrels on that one were pretty thick . The darker gun was a E.C Green 10 gauge both with 32" barrels . I have since traded both guns but I do miss the Bonehill it was built like a tank and I took a good deal of squirrels with that one using the RST loads . The blue hulls in the photo is when I was using a 10 ga to 16 gauge adapter that was cut for the extractors . They chambered horribly and I found it better to just use RST 10 ga shells .
The Bonehill was a oddity in that at some point someone had re chambered it for 3.5" shells
I mean the barrels were pretty thick but still Im not sure how good of a idea that is . I only ever shot 2 7/8 out of it besides the 16 ga shells .
The E.C Green had trouble with the hammers the heads of the hammer screws snapped off and the forend latch would constantly let go . I had no problems from the Bonehill however It was a great 10 ga sxs considering I paid 600$ for it .
