I wonder if a skilled taxidermist, "hit," the partridge with the pins just right; would it then mount itself. I guess not. Just an early morning thought. I am always amazed when a skilled taxidermist does an animal or fish. The artistry is just amazing. The bird in the photo is very well done.

The boys over in Canada call them "lake teal", I think there are more local names for Buffleheads than any other duck. Hah!
