Default Newer "old guy"

Hi, stumbled on this site while googeling a Parker PG that I have had for ages sitting in my cabinet and since I am getting to the age where I need to think of trimming the herd was wondering what a fair market price would be for such a shotgun. Will post pics in another thread. Thanks for any help or info

What is a "Parker PG"?

That's a very nice Parker Bros. bill of sale!

Do you own the gun listed on the bill of sale or just the paper?

.......or both?????

Okay... okay... I get it now.

I have a lotta Parker "PG's"... Why, I even have a Ruger "PG" and a Winchester "PG". I have a Weatherby "PG" and a TC "PG" too. I also have a Parker 'project' "PG" that I'm changing to a Parker SG..... How'm I doin' ?

My '96 GMC is a PIG... but that's beside the point.

Oh, by the way, The Parker that Mr. Erickson shows in his other thread appears to be a very decent VH ... or Vulcan, if you will.

Hi Mr. Erickson - The gun is actually shown as # 131381 12/30 (which is 12 gauge with 30" barrels) Vulcan (which refers to the grade of the Parker, a VH or as marked on the barrel rib, Vulcan Steel... V = Vulcan, H = Hammerless) and the PG refers to the stock's grip style, in this case a PG = Pistol Grip.

I was 'funnin'" with the other guys, no disrespect to you at all.

A very cool invoice. The gun literally went to the town next door to Meriden. I am sure Mr. Winter was very pleased with his new Parker Bros. shotgun. I looks as though it was well cared for.
