Thanks again. See there is no work order card for my serial so would guess some other rebarrelling request? I am assuming (never assume) those are some of the work order notes.

The "work order card" has nothing to do with work done later than the building of the gun. The "work order card" refers to the building of the gun. The PGCA letter may, yes may, give you information about the original configuration of the gun as ordered and the name of the person or firm that ordered the gun. The stock book entry for your gun apparently is available but the order book information will probably be more interesting, and may also be available. Forty bucks well spent.

BTW, another vote for Brian to help you out. He really knows Parkers from the front to the back and back to the front as they say.

Thanks to all. Once I get the letter back I will update here. Are the stocks normally walnut or another wood?

Please consider a gunsmith familiar with Parker guns. I would suggest you let Brian Dudley advise you!

Darrell, there are four entries in the records for your heirloom. Definitely order a research letter.

I've had Parkers, L. C. Smiths, Lefevers and Winchesters redone over the last 40 years and the "Best" advise I can share is choice your gunsmith (s) wisely! Experience counts and ask for references. If you choice the wrong gunsmith (s) you'll potentially get a lesser quality product and it'll exceed your budget exponentially.
