Talking new member again.

I was last on the forum in 2011. haven't even had the two shotguns out of the closet since then. now they are out and being cleaned. one is hammerless and the other is a hammer model. both are twisted steel barrels.
i think i will have time this time to properly clean and record the serial numbers and post pictures......the guns are in really great shape with some very minor surface rust. the engraving is just beautiful!!! i'll post the info on another of the forums here where everybody hangs out. the hammer model needs a hammer and i have a gunsmiths name and address in Melbourne, Florida who, i have been told, can help.
thanks and glad to be back, bill

I took some pics last night and i'm headed in to the other room to download and size. i looked up the serial numbers last night and the hammerless was made in 1900 and the hammer is a 1878 model. there was one hammer on it but out in the shop last night, it doesn't match the firing pin so it will need both hammers. pictures will be around a little later..

Welcome Bill. I would like to see your pics. I also have a hammer gun made in 1878. It is my first Parker.
