Default putting up hunting gear

well its raining here again today has saved me from mowing yards..ha i had done cleaned up the parker 10 ga and its ready for whatever.... i got my big backpack and see what i needed to remove first i found my portabal blind..next was half pack of uneaten crackers then came a can of vieni sasages...next were 2 bottles of water then came 2 pair of field glasses why i had 2 pairs is beyond me...then i found one brown jersey glove matches the other left handed glove if i can find 2 right handed gloves i will then have 2 pair.why is it that i always lose the right handed glove.... next came out another can of sauage....next were 7 turkey calls of differant makesand none of the calls would work on a turkey that last day...then i found a compass and a big knife...with all this gear in the back pack no wonder i gave out quickly...anyway i now have put away my back pack till next time..i still like cleaning out my truck and putting up the decoys why does a fellow need so much gear just to hunt....charlie

You know how it goes Charlie... it just gets in there. It just accumulates over time. And heck, if you didn't have it that's the time you'd need it.

I think if I tried to eat one of the candy bars in my blind bag, I'd break a tooth

Same here Charlie. I think it was because when I walked in on a point i would take the right glove off to shoot better. After bulling my way into a thicket to honor a point I would often find the cover traded a glove for a chance at a bird

I always joked some one could determine my woodcock covers by looking for right gloves hanging on thorns

I once lost my back tag that way - found it a couple weeks later revisiting a cover

Finally resolved the problem when I started wearing the Orvis upland gloves - thin enough I leave them on to shoot
