MY Parker GH 28 with 24" barrels. Another red headed step child that is magical over the dogs with RST's.

I tried to flip your picture Edgar ...several times ,never seen anything so set in its ways, every time I tried to coax it upright,I turned my back and it was hove off on its side again ...really stubborn,I even tipped the pc screen and when I lay down to look at it, it twisted up again ...can you imagine trying to live with a picture like that?....this is my littlest Parker ,a 16 ,28" O frame ,I tried turning the picture but everyone fell out of the pan

Good on you Edgar for getting out and chasing them. I'll be out in the woods chasing grouse with my 24" PHE16 for the next two days. Trigg is on his way from Anchorage with two dogs right now and is only 70mi out. Looking forward to it. This is supposed to be the peak of the ruffie cycle around here.

You two will have some fun chasing those biddies Richard.
Nice picture - let's see some more in the next few days.

Wait just a darn minute.... That's Edgar's picture set right side up. Good job!

We froze our patooies off hunting in 15deg temps today and saw but two spruce grouse on the road on the way in. It was a long day. We get back to my house and Trigg gets a text msg with a picture from some guy who hunted somewhere around Fairbanks today who had 8 ruffies lined up. I'm seriously wondering if he shot them in the air...

What is the daily limit? Was that his bag or with another hunter? The daily bag limit in Maine is 4, and the season runs from the first of October to the end of December. I believe the bag should be lowered, and the season should be cut off before they only feed on the buds. I'm not up there in December, but from all I hear, they slaughter birds in high numbers. We are seeing turkeys as far north as the Golden road, and the numbers I'm seeing and hearing from others says grouse may be in serious decline.
