Great thread guys!!! My dad, who passed away at age 90 five year ago, was a Nordern Bomb sight specialist, and was 65% disabled in Italy in 1944. He was part of the "greatest generation" and you would have never known that he was disabled. He never talked of it, and had a very successful career in business. The nordern bombsight was a very advanced tool that not may folks know about, but it was a major reason that we were able to win the war.

I have a norden bombsight on display at our local aircraft museum.... pretty cool. It was definitely going to waste on that B-24 wreck where I found it...
