Paul:
You will also notice that about all you get is three reloads tops, before these hulls split at the crimp folds and die. For longevity, I've had much better luck with the Cheddite hulls that Graff sells in bulk. Best, Kensal |

I don't agree. I have reloaded these hulls 6 plus times before chucking them. A lot has to do with the load you use in them. I load mine fairly light and most times they are loaded as spreaders.

I also load the Rem. hulls in 16ga. and have found I can get 4-6 reloads out of them before they split or become too brittle. I have heard of others complaining about them splitting but I, like Dave, load very light 3/4oz loads and I believe that has something to do with it.

Dave, you must have hit the wrong button - I would have thought the shell to be around 2 3/4" - not 1.68. Did you mean 2.68 ? That would be close to 2 5/8 - right ? The reason I ask is that on another reloading forum a fellow is claiming his are 2 9/16 and I thought maybe he picked up some that were trimmed. I thought 2 3/4 was pretty much the standard today.

Daryl and Dave,
My experience with 16 ga Game loads mirrors yours with the number of times a hull can be loaded, again I load 7/8 oz of 8's with light poweder charges. I must have some older black Game Loads as some have 8 point crimps, although most have the 6pt crimp. Jack Kuzepski |

Jack, The Peters game load hulls are 8 point crimp. If I am going to reload a bunch of Peters hulls I just change my crimp starter to the 8 point one. No muss no fuss.
