Default A+F

Does anybody know the date that Abercrombie and Fitch started marketing Parker Shotguns?

I’m not sure but I see on our home page, in the research letters area the A&F records begin in 1900.

We have the A&F serial numbers on all Parkers sold by by them. Those serial numbers should give us a good idea when they started selling Parkers.

Incidentally, A&F first opened their doors in 1892 so any serial number of a gun produced before 1892, even if it shows up on guns they sold, certainly can’t be used as a starting point.

The list of A&F Parkers is divided into NEW and USED guns. The used gun list is useless in determining the serial number of the first gun sold at A&F. Let's post the A&F lists so we can continue this conversation with the lists in front of us.
