Default Parker Bros. O/U...

Here are the remains of Ernie Lazor's attempt to build an O/U Parker..I thought the members might like to see the parts. The work is very good. A 16 gauge shell fits loosely..so might be a 12 if finished...These came from the engraver that Lazor hired to do the guns. He thinks he did 7 or 8.. The receiver has the trigger plate installed..but the other trigger plate is much smaller..

The "elders" are much more versed on this attempt to produce another Parker than I am. I have heard of the project..but have never seen a completed gun. I'm sure one of the old guard will chime in..

There was a completed example for sale on Gunbroker recently. I think around the end of last year.

I handled one of the prototypes about 10 or 12 years ago at Pintail or someplace where his booth was set up.

He began this project thinking he could use the name Parker without checking if the bame (marque) was owned by anyone.

Surprise, surprise.... Remington Arms owned the name until the auction a few days ago. Remington’s legal department put a quick end to the project.

I vaguely remember one being for sale somewhere. Not a big interest for me, cause the only thing I use an O/U for is box birds, and that with the "other" P-Gun.
