i ve had some 8 ga shell that i had loaded up probably over 2 years noy they were loaded with triple 7..i had rolled cripped these shells i just wanted to see if they would still shoot...i think there was 8 rounds all 8 of them shot with good loud noise no duds or squibs...so now i know these old loads can set on the shelkf a while and still be good...charlie

The shelf life of " real " black powder is quite long [ forever ? ]. Think you can still get it with no problem.

the triple 7 cleans up very easy..not as easy as smokeless but easy enough..just need to clean it rite after shooting before putting it away..it will rust a barrel overnite if left in the barrel...charlie
