now the question is - What are the bores like - Much pitting?

have it checked by someone who knows vintage double to make sure its in safe condition and then get some RST shells for it http://www.rstshells.com/

if you let the members know where you are we might be able to recommend some one near you

but - a graded 0 frame 20ga

i hope where ever you are its upland bird country -

That's great news! The gun needs a good cleaning then I will be able to better answer the questions about the notes. I literally got the gun today and am finding new things by the minute. Feels like Christmas morning!! I live in New Boston NH but also have property in Kansas where this gun will eventually end up. I would gladly take any advice on preservation or recommended services close by. Thanks again for everyone's information.

Hi Sean, I live right down the street from you in Andover, MA and will be glad to examine your gun for you.

Sean, you should really take Dean up on his offer. He is honestly a wealth of Parker knowledge.

Sounds great. Thank you for helping me with this gun. I also have another gun I got in the same estate sale. It's not a parker bros. but a spanish upland bird gun. How do we go about getting info to each other?
