Default Can’t wait for the quail opener

Dove will have to do for now. Headed south for the first weekend. Just hope this storm doesn’t mess everything up. Here are a few from last year.

Now you've done it, Greg. The dogs saw your great photos and are nagging me to go...and our season doesn't open for a month and a half!

I've read that parts of Texas look good this year, and other places not so much. I hope you've access to the good.

Unfortunately we’re right there with you , we open Oct30th . My lease is in Webb county and we have great numbers, looking like it could be a banner year. All of my buddies are also loaded up , we usual bounce around our different properties to give the birds a rest. Unfortunately we really don’t get going until after some deer hunting and temperatures cool down for the dogs and the snakes are less likely. Hope you have a great season.

We have a big quail trip in Moultrie, Georgia, planned for Thanksgiving week. We are taking our sons and bird dog and this has long been on our to-do list

Last year was great for Gambel's here in AZ, going to head to the same spot this year for the opener.

New 16 was sweeter than I could imagine. What a pleasure, two hunts to go .

I heard, and then flushed, a lone male Bob the other day while pretending to dove hunt. He was "bob whiting" to beat the band. It's the latest I've every heard an unpaired male call. I think we are in for a poor season after last year's ice and snow.
