My Sidekicks
[B]Good Morning Dean,
Here are photos of my current Sidekicks. Ice, the pointing Lab, will be 13 on the 6th of July and still can hunt easy cover for an hour or two.(about the same as the old man) The 'kid' will be 5 on the 7th. She is a 'Rescue' and acts like a Chessy, but has a phenomenal nose that luckily is hooked to her always alert think tank. I can whoa her on stupid pen raised birds, but not on grouse. Maybe they smell different, or she figures she has worked her butt off to get one close and it is hers. She is an easy read, so I am always ready to miss with excuse at hand. Sometimes I think dogs may be the Big Guy's best gift to mankind?? |

I had a chocolate lab that had a phenomenal nose. Unfortunately she was notoriously gun-shy.
